Intro to advertising conventions

 1. Skittles advert analysis 

In the picture it shows how their is a wide variety of skittles to choose from and each colour is a differnt expericne 

USP: Skittles have many different colours and flavours which makes then unique to other sweet brands

Setting/colour scheme:The skittles are arranged to form a rainbow. Rainbows typically connote childlike fun colours to attract children and also the LGBTQ. In tbis context i beleive skittles are trying to aim their product to everyone by making it appealing and bright so its eye catching 

Logo:Skittles is wrriten in bold white format to stand out 

Slogan:The slogan “tastes like the rainbow” refers to how every flavour has its own sweet taste and the variety of flavour attract more consumers as their is a flavour for everyones personal prefernece 

2)Skittles USP is by arranging each of the flavours in a rainbow. They are showing how much they have to offer by hsing the rainbow to attract young viewers like children due to bright colours
