Do now :
1 ) Why might only viewing your audience through demographics characteristics be a bad way to target people ? What do demographics not consider ?
Demographics do not consider the personality , values , attitudes of the charcters and with demographic characteristics we are only basing it of what we see . We aren't able to get much context behind the charcters and left to assume .

1) What information do media companies use to create a demographic profile of their audience?
Companies are more interested in social class classifiaction in which they try promote a brand or lifestyle and therefore need to know more about their audeince then simle age , gender or where they live .
2) Why are media companies and advertisers increasingly using audience profiling and not just demographics?
As they need to know more about them rather then just their demographics to understand and better the production and sales .
3) What are the seven different Pychographic groups?
They are The Aspirer , The Reformer , The Explorer , The Mainstream , The Succeseeder , The Sturggler , The Resigned .
4) Write a brief summary of what each Psychographic group is seeking or motivated by.
The Aspirer are the people who are more driven by other peoples perception of them rather then their own and therefore their core need in life is their status . The reformer are the people in which value their own independence and thrive of themselves and their beliefs who are often perceived as inter - lectual . The explorers are people who are driven by a need for new challenges and discoveries and often the peopleto first try out new ideas and experiences . The mainstream is people who live in the world of the domestic and the everyday which their core need in life is security . The suceesders are people who posses self confidence and have a strong goal for orientation in which they tend to be very organised with their core need in life is for everything to be in control . The strugglers are people who live for today and make few plans for tommorow in which they are seen as victims and losers who are aimless and disorginased . The resigned are for prodimantaly older people wih constant and unchanging values in life and their aim is basic ; it is to survive .
5) What psychographic group or groups do YOU belong in? Think about your own interests and lifestyle and explain your decision. Remember, you may fit into two or three different groups!
In my opinion , I think I fit into ' The reformers ' and ' The strugglers ' . I think I have strong desieres to do well however I do struggle an find it diffucult to achieve these aspirations so therefore quit and not aim for higher and continue to do well .
