Mise-en-scene stranger things analysis

 

Lighting : In this scene , I can see how the dark lighting creates and eerie affect and a unsettling tone to the start of the movie. Additionally the flickering of the lights adds onto the disturbing vibe . This suggests to the audience that these series will be in the horror genre and prepares the audience .

Actor expression : In this clip , we can see how the doctor is running and panicking . He looks desperate and in need of help . The sesne of urgency tells us he is in trouble which creates a gloomy and scary enviroment . 

   

Props : The gun shows self defence and expands on the idea of fear . In this image , the audeince may suggest that he is in need of the gun and danger is approaching dur to the level of viiolence and considering hes so young .
