Camera movement and editing
1 ) The cut from ( 0.34 - 0.37 ) leave suspense for the audience as it shows the man looking down and then up to realise the danger upfront from him . 1b) Crane: 1.16: The use of this camera movement creates a quick motion effect giving a large overview of the setting and what's going on. Allows the audience to see the action taking place and an idea of why the director may have chosen this type of camera movement. It displays a sense of urgency seeing that the characters are being chased and a lot of dramatic motion is recorded. It also adds lots of rapid motion which enhances the dramatic scene. 1c) Tilt: 2.15: This use of camera movement creates a dramatic image and a high angle shot. It allows the audience to see what is going on from a still view with no movement. It foreshadows the next steps which will commence in the following scene.
